What's so special about Pilates? Why do I often hear the word Pilates? Why should I make Pilates a part of my life? 


This workshop will give you a brief history of the how the Pilates method came to be, what Joseph Pilates knew about movement and the body more than 100 years ago that current science is now confirming, and how every body can benefit from those techniques and fundamentals. 
Come prepared to move as you will be led through a short routine of traditional Pilates exercises which you can use at home to build your core strength, enhance your flexibility, and gain control over your body's movements. You will leave feeling massaged and stimulated with a better understanding of Pilates and its purpose, and how you can use it to improve your life.
